What Did You Do Today? Empty What Did You Do Today?

Just a little place to share anything of your day!

For me, my day was very much focused on my first exam in university. A wonderful three hours - I've never understood what people mean when they talk about their hands locking etc., not even in 2 hour/2 1/2 hours exams, but apparently three hours will do it even to my hand. So that was an experience, have to say it's not as bad as it sounds. Spend just as much time writing you don't notice it's a longer exam.

Sounds tiring. I hate exams.

Today I got a caramel latte. That was literally the best bit.

I wrote for like five hours and listened to a lot of bowie because HE RELEASED A NEW SONG TODAY and then I wrote some more, and watched midsummer murders.

And then you went and revived my unrequited love for gomez addams, evil admin.

I miss this.

But seriously, the writing was good. I discovered a vital plot point that I had no idea existed before. Cool

Well, it was a tad. Though considering I functioned on about 2/3 hours sleep thanks to 6am starts, I think that went all rather well.

Mmm caramel, but I'll never understand how you like the taste of any coffee, or tea or anything similar. Sounds like a productive and enjoyable day overall - YAY FOR BOWIE. Curious about this plot point though!

Is it my fault I was utter gob-smacked when you didn't seem to pick up on an Addams Family reference? No. Not at all evil... In this case. -and on that, totally joining your re-watch party. Sounds good with pizza and other loved foods, yes?

Hey, I'm not forcing pizza on you - that's why I said "other loved foods", so you can have what you like Smile

I saw it- pretty!

Today I found out the history of my house. Which is very cool. Read-

John Skelly, of Tullywest, took the oath of allegiance, but his wife was dissatisfied with him for doing so and persuaded him to the rebels. Skelly was present at the sacking of' Saintfield House. When subsequently arrested by the Yeomen in his own house a silver ink-stand was noticed on his mantleboard and recognised as belonging to Squire Price. On this evidence Skelly was hanged.

When Mrs. Skelly heard of her husband's impending fate, she took a horse and cart to the County Town and brought the body to Saintfield and buried it in the Presbyterian Churchyard, where the grave is still to be seen. (The pike which Skelly carried is now in the possession of Mrs. Caldwell, of Great Victoria Street, Belfast, who is a cousin of Mr. R. B. Morrow of Tullywest. Skelly's property now belongs to Mr. William Irvine).

Skelly's house is my house. Or at least, probably our barn, because I think this house is maybe 1800s, but whatever- it's cool!

The book that is written in is old, and it is the name of the man-who-owned-it-before-us's father.

I love finding out things like this. google your town, look at the records- if I can find something for here, i'm sure you can find something.

^ Come back, read, and listen to your mod! (No seriously, she's a budding serial killer, I'd listen to her.)
